Hi I am a 37 old married woman with 1 son. We had 2 mortgages. We were behind on the first mortgage and were about ready to foreclose. I borrowed the money from an individual to avoid foreclosure. Now they want to be paid back. I owe more on the property then what it is worth. I am unable to finance to payoff the full amount. Are there any programs or grants to help me payoff the mortgage and keep my payment low.

my daughter and i are about to lose a house i had already paid off once.Got marryed and divorce since than.But, in the mean time my X husband tooka loan out and used the house for the loan.Now divorce iam having to pay for it again.But,he had already put the house into forecloserour.Now i have ten days before the auction.Is there any government help out for my daughter and i.

Have any of these questions been acknowledged? We are so desperately in need of a home to own but, what is our Government willing to do for us people? I' m a registered nurse, and wrk 80-85 house per week, but I am behind on everything, I have no money at all I have applied for loans all over. I have been scammed for $ 3400. And that was all my savings, I realty thought this so called company would help me. But they just stole my life. I can't get a loan because my credit score is her bad, I have had a credit company and legal team try to clean it up but takes money and tme. I am begging for help.I need to get all of my bills paid a once so I can pay a large payment to get the money back to u. My daughter is MR she is smart though, she has been accepted in a special school. But I have no money to put her there. I have proof of everything. Please, please help me? Thank you

Our next door neighbor just lost her husband suddenly.  He was the only income winner aside from her on-call +/-10 hours/week job.  Since he had been out of work for nearly a year after his company went belly up, they had no current life insurance.  Mortage insurance had been elliminated as a cost cutting measure for them to get by.  Now, the family's first concern is finding a way to keep her and her two grade school-aged children in their home.  Extended family on both sides have exhausted all their financial resources supporting them while he was out of work.  Any suggestions as to which government grants or similar assistance we can direct her towards?

I love my neighborhood & don't want to move again- I've moved 5 times since divorce.My kids and I are settled. I have been trying to get funding for the last year

Since divorce I paid  off $30 k in debts accumulated by spouse in my name.I have good credit and qualify for regular loans but they won't touch a land only sales.

Do you know of any rural grants or loans that will help me purchase this property? I won't give up.

I think you can get a grant to restore an old listed building and you should qualify for a mortgage  as a veteran.

im34 and ive been trying everything to get help with my mortgage payments the grant offers are nice but you need a credit or debit card to even pay a two dollar shipping fee.  i was close to foreclosure once already was able to catch up almost all of it because my wife and i were both working at the same time long story short we have been cut i pay drasticly im only 2500 dollars away from cathing up on my mortgage but ive recently had a bankruptcy have poor credit and cant seem to get any help  i have tried everything does any one no somethig i dont on how to get help

Hello My name is Yana. I am a single mother. I have two children and they are living with me. In 2006 life was wonderful. My little condo was paid off. My daughter and I made a descion to go into a business. Long story short, it was a ''franchise'' Chain of restaurants which is losing money. We did not know what we got into. We turned the Franchisor into the police and an investigation is currently in progress.

In the meantime I am trying to survive...

I am trying to stay on top of everything.

I am a sales person and I am on commisions only as of now.

It will take some time to build up a normal lifestyle for us.

I'm trying to find any information I can on government or private grants to help me purchase land and build a home for my family and myself. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy land and then build a home; I can only do one or the other.
